Effectively, this break through in 3D graphics means that all the terabytes of 3D models developed in 3D modelling software packages such as AUTOCAD and 3D Studio Max can be changed into formats suitable for use into UNREAL 2.5 and subsequently NORTEL’s web.alive client. This is not currently easily achievable in the most popular virtual environments such as Second Life.
